Syed Saddiq's Image at Risk?Netizens Slam Viral “Low IQ" Prank

A clip shared on Threads showed Malaysian MP Syed Saddiq being pranked during a family dinner at a restaurant, seemingly by Bella Astillah's sister, Didi Astillah. However, the stunt did not land well with many online, as netizens quickly labelled it a "low IQ" prank.

In the video, the sister was seen shouting at a waiter holding a glass of juice. The waiter responded by saying that she should not be rude just because she is an artist.

As the argument continued, Syed Saddiq stepped in and tried to calm both sides down by separating them. Bella's mother was also seen approaching the sister and scolding her.

Bella's mother then confronted her over her behaviour, asking why she was being rude during her birthday celebration when she had shown her respect at her wedding.

Moments later, the sister and the rest of the group shouted, "It's just a prank!" The reveal left the mother in tears, while Syed Saddiq still appeared visibly stressed by the whole incident.

After the incident, Didi apologised to anyone who felt uncomfortable with the prank. She explained that this was not the first time she had planned something similar and added that the video was filmed in a private setting.

Didi also urged the public to stay calm and not worry too much about MP Syed Saddiq's condition.
